From 9 am to noon, individual volunteers and groups will remove pollution and unnatural debris from over 50 sandy shores as well as some inland waterways.
Last year in California alone, 62,668 volunteers participated in the cleanup, removing over  728,289 pounds of trash and 143,291 pounds of recyclable waste from over 1,500 miles.

Volunteer your time, or, be one of the many who choose to also fundraise. It’s easy!  Once you have signed up, simply create a fundraising page and share with friends and family. You may choose to fundraise as an individual or as a team.  Individual volunteers who raise $100 or more will receive a Heal the Bay t-shirt!  Proceeds go towards purchasing future beach cleaning supplies.
