What to Do this Weekend: 4/11-4/13 Edition

Not stuck on the 105 freeway with the rest of Coachella goers? You’ll be glad that you stuck around Los Angeles for the weekend – there’s so much fun stuff going on!

Friday 4/11

Big fan of the Eames era? Check out Bowlarama, the special exhibit by the Architecture and Design Museum that celebrates the reinvention of the sport of bowling in the 1950s with luxury, space age design in Los Angeles.  The exhibit runs through May 11th, so check it out before then!

Saturday 4/12

Before there was Mean Girls and after there was Heathers, Clueless was the mega-huge 1990’s blockbuster depicting teenage life, not to mention spurring years to come of new slang and fashion trends.  Head over to the Electric Dusk Drive In, a kind of make-shift drive in movie theater in downtown Los Angeles, for a screening of the hilarious OMG LOL-moment movie! Gates open at 6:30 for admission and the screening starts at 8pm. Tickets available HERE from $8 up.

Sunday 4/13

Fan of the hit tv show Mad Men? Join the crowd! Head over to a free Santa Monica event at Trip to watch the first episode of the last season of the show with other fans.  This is a 21+ event and admission is free, but get there before the show starts at 7:00pm for a good seat, drinks and good! More information and RSVP HERE.
