What to do this Weekend: 2/21-2/23

Whew! Now that Valentines Day/Presidents Day weekend is over, how about some fun that is non-romance or anti-romance related?

Here are 3 super-fun events we have lined up for your Los Angeles weekend!

Friday 2/21

There’s a line from a classic 1930’s gangster movie where the gangster threatens to make another man sleep with the fishes.  But why sleep when you can mingle?

The Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach invites you to enjoy a cocktail and live music while checking out some of the coolest fish and modern art around! More information can be found on the Night Dive website HERE!

Saturday 2/22

Love to run and do yoga or just want to love to run and do yoga? Come to Santa Monica for a free session of Roga (running + yoga)! Held every Saturday morning at 8am, you’ll meet other likeminded Rogis under the Santa Monica Pier sign at the top of the ramp on Colorado and Ocean for a 2-5 mile run around the beach and pier. The run is followed by ocean-view yoga at the far west end of the pier at 9am.

Sunday 2/23

Are you a bride-to-be (or do you know of one) who prefers to shrug off stale traditional weddings in favor of a more modern approach? Go see celebrity wedding planner David Tutera at the Wedding Show for the Modern Bride!  Located inside of the ultra-glamorous Hotel Sofitel in Beverly Hills, admission is $15 and includes hosted bar and food and a vendor after party on the patio!
