What To Do: 2/7-2/9 Edition

Not at home with a cold or flu like the rest of Los Angeles? Good for you! Celebrate by getting out of the house and doing one (or all) of the fun evening adventures that we have selected for you this weekend.

Friday 2/7

The First Friday sessions resume at the Natural History Museum with an evening of performances by indie sensations Baths, and Peaking Lights. Oh, and there’s some educational value to the evening as well with a discussion about the coastal ecosystems of Southern California by Dr. Roberta Marinelli and a talk entitled “Tracking and Trapping L.A.’s Wildlife” by Dr. Regina Wetzer, the Director of Marine Biodiversity Center.

Saturday 2/8

If you’ve ever watched Downton Abbey or the movie Titanic and romanticized about the amazing costumes, have we got an event for you!

The 14th annual Edwardian Ball is taking place this Saturday the 8th at the Fonda Theatre.  Dress the part in Edwardian attire, or steam punk, and mingle and drink with likeminded individuals from all over! Hurry HERE for your general admin tics because everything else is sold out!

Sunday 2/9

Your grandmother and siblings versions of BINGO gets updated…and wacky! Due to popular demand, Hamburger Mary’s is hosting a 6:00pm and 8:00pm session of Legendary Bingo. It’s drag queens, celebrity ball callers, insanely fattening food and martinis the size of a dragons head.  All proceeds benefit that sessions select charity and prizes are amazing!

Call in advance for reservations but still get there at least 20 minutes early. This is a truly not-to-be-missed West Hollywood event, so grab your grandmother, your friends and your siblings and head on down for hijinks!
