This Sunday: Spring FORWARD One Hour

DOH! It’s that time of year again when we regretfully lose and entire hour of sleep. Can you believe it?!

Unless you have nowhere to go or be, don’t forget to move your clocks forward one hour early this coming Sunday for Daylight Savings.

This Sunday, March 13th at 2am, most clocks in the United States will roll forward an hour, depriving us of an entire hour of sleep.  Before you moan and groan and prepare yourself to hit the “snooze” button several times on Sunday, take a look at some of the tips we’ve compiled below on how to wake up both easier and faster.

LifeHacker.com has THIS great article on how to make waking up more pleasurable.

They suggest making waking up a more pleasurable experience by doing small things such as investing in an automatic coffee maker and setting it each night to start brewing your morning cuppa about 10 minutes before your alarm goes off.

Also suggested is to make your morning alarm less jarring and more appealing.  You may think that utilizing that jarring, shrill default alarm on your phone will do the trick, but many people agree that waking up to a song that they like is more productive. THIS article has 10 great suggestions for inspiring, heart pumping and even funny songs that may make it easier for you to get out of bed without hitting snooze several times!
