Spot the Local: Your Guide to Santa Monica Farmers Markets

You can visit Paris in the Springtime and you can keep your Autumn in New York, but nothing quite beats the summertime-like Spring weather that we enjoy here in Santa Monica!

There’s something magical about the warm breezes of the salt scented sea air filling your lungs while the bright Southern California sun shines down upon you like a crown.  There are golden sanded beaches to frolic upon, fields of sweet green grass to picnic on and dozens upon dozens of other fascinating and beautiful places to spend a carefree few hours or even a whole day at.

In-the-know locals agree that the Santa Monica Farmers Markets are one such place.

As in Europe, in-the-know Santa Monica locals have considered our farmers markets to be prime neighborhood gathering places for decades; the downtown Santa Monica farmers market is currently celebrating its 35th anniversary!

Visiting a farmers market can be quite the pleasurable experience and good way to socialize with neighbors, gather together with friends or relatives, or, to spend some quality alone time outside of everyday stresses and worries.

Here, thanks to Santa Monica Gov, we highlight three Santa Monica farmers markets where you can taste and purchase locally grown, mostly organic produce, enjoy some light entertainment and reveal in the gorgeous Santa Monica weather. Enjoy!
