Saturday’s Off The 405!

Now is your chance to visit the Getty, and not just to take your grandma to see The Poetry of Paper—although you should do that because it’s the nice thing to do and this exhibit is ends October 20thth—but because of Saturday’s off the 405!! What’s that you ask? Let me explain.

Saturday’s off the 405 is an outdoor little music retreat at the Getty Museum (obviously off the 405, not to be confused with the Getty Villa—which also has some cool stuff going on!). Come out and enjoy some live music, great views (duh, it’s a museum) and drinks!  This event is FREE (awesome!) and is located in the museum courtyard from 6 – 9pm.

This Saturday (August 24th) La Santa Cecilia, named the saint of musicians brings a dance-friendly mélange of rock, funk, samba, and all other genres. Also performing is DJ Jose Salguero.

Food is available for purchase and there is a cash bar (beer and wine!) is open in the museum courtyard.
