NMS Properties was recently featured in the May 2011 issue of the Professional Builder magazine. The article focused on the affect that “renters by choice” have on the housing market and how the industry is catering to their needs by offering a broader diversity of product types, square footage and amenities.
Jim Anderson, Chief Operating Officer, shared his thoughts on NMS’ investment in redeveloping the downtown of Santa Monica and discussed the company’s latest project – Luxe@1548. “We tried to accomplish three things with this project,” he says. “First, we emphasized air and light and space. Second, we wanted to convey the experience of high finish and high style from the moment you enter the building. We want the renter to understand that we’ve taken as much care in the process of designing these units as they would. The third objective was to add to the streetscape of Santa Monica, which is known for its bold architecture.”
Luxe@1548 features bronzed and clear anodized aluminum accents and window frames that complement a neutral, off-white exterior. The interiors offer sophisticated modern designs that dazzle the eyes with beautiful stainless-steel kitchen appliances, granite counters, hardwood-styled floors and Berber carpet, while the heart is captured by the breathtaking views of Santa Monica and the ocean.
