Rain Expected in Los Angeles this Week

Hard to believe that it really is winter even though we in Los Angeles haven’t had much in the way of rain or any of the other winter weather extremes experienced around the US thanks to the polar vortex.

But don’t store your closed toed shoes or umbrellas just yet as a few local sources are predicting a few big winter storms  this week!

While it’s only expected to drop 3/4 of an inch in rain, the first “storm” is set to hit Los Angeles this Wednesday.  The second storm is expected to dose us quite a bit more, hitting the Southland on Friday with one to two inches of rain.

SCV News predicts the much needed rain will bring snow to the area ski and snowboard resorts such as Mount High and possibly even Big Bear Mountain.
