Los Angeles Apartment Renters: Why Not RENT a Live Christmas Tree?
Ahhhhh, there’s nothing like the smell of a fresh Christmas tree to evoke memories of cozy and warm holidays past! That is, until after the holiday has come and gone; the magic tends to disappear when you’re lugging the dried up tree, falling needles and all, down to your apartment buildings dumpster, feeling guilty that this tree that played a large part in this years special holiday memories is now on its way to die in a dump.
What if we told you that there was a way to experience the magic of having a fresh Christmas tree in your Los Angeles apartment without the post-holiday guilt?
The Living Christmas Company does just that by providing you with a fresh Christmas tree for rent!
On a mission to “change the way California celebrates Christmas”, this company provides those in both Northern and Southern parts of the state with the opportunity to rent a tree which is delivered and later picked up after the holiday.
What happens to the tree after pick up? It will either go back to the nursery where it is re-planted and continues to grow until the next years use or, for trees that would not be suitable for use the next year, are donated to the Urban Reforestation Project or simply re-planted outside of the nursery.
Sound too good to be true? Well, it isn’t! Trees to choose from include varieties such as Aleppo Pine, Blue Spruce, White Spruce and Monterrey Pine and the sizes range from 3 feet all of the way up to 9 feet! Prices before delivery start around $30 depending on size and delivery rates seem to average about $50 (inclusive of both the pick up and the delivery).
So what do you say, Los Angeles apartment dwellers? Rent your Christmas tree this year and not only skip lugging it in and out of your building but also feel good about “going green” as well!
