CSUN Community Classes Available Close to Our Northridge Apartments for Rent!

With the fall semester having started at Cal State Northridge, it’s important for residents at NMS’s apartments for lease in Northridge to remember that community members are invited to enroll in classes at the college. CSUN offers certificate programs, extension courses and credit courses open to the community.

Now in its 56th year, California State University, Northridge is located right across the street from NMS [email protected], an affordable residential community that houses three-, two- and one-bedroom apartments to rent in Northridge. The expansive property boasts a refreshing pool, sauna and steam room; a resident lounge replete with a billiards table; an executive gym that features an array of exercise fixtures; and individual garages for the residents at our Northridge apartments for rent.

Walk across the street, and the residents of our Northridge apartments for lease can be at CSUN in seconds. For those who don’t attend the school on an undergraduate or graduate level, there is a wide variety of education opportunities available.

CSUN offers certificate programs as part of its adult college education and continuing professional education programs. Nicknamed “P.A.C.E.” (“Program for Adult College Education”), the accelerated program is intended for working adults and involves classes that meet for two hours on a weeknight and a half-day on Saturdays over the course of eight weeks. At present, P.A.C.E. is offering a business program and a liberal studies (teaching) program.

While the application deadline for P.A.C.E.’s fall session has passed, you can prepare to apply for the spring session. Go here for more information about P.A.C.E.

In addition to P.A.C.E., there is also an Open University program that is open to both community members and students who are not admitted to a CSUN degree program. Open University classes can be taken for academic credit, with students able to take up to 24 units of academic credit that may be applied toward a bachelor’s degree. Up to nine units of academic credit can be used toward a master’s degree.

Individuals do not have to formally apply or be formally admitted to CSUN in order to enroll in the college’s Open University program, which is administered by Tseng College (located on the CSUN campus). The classes are offered during the school’s fall and spring semesters. Go here for more information about CSUN’s Open University program.
