Brokechella: The Alternative Music Festival to Coachella

If you’re a music lover that hasn’t heard of Coachella, then you might as well be living under a rock!

Coachella used to be a weekend long festival of musical acts, both new and classic, that took place in the Palm Desert city of Indio.  Since its very first show in 1999, the music festival has featured and premiered the acts of musical greats such as Amy Winehouse, Jay-Z, The Beastie Boys, Florence and the Machine and the Cure.

In 2012, they announced that because the festival had gotten so big and popular, they would split the festival into two back-to-back weekends with each weekend featuring different acts.

Not only has the festival become longer, but the prices of tickets to Coachella have become almost unaffordable for many music lovers.  Enter…Brokechella, the Los Angeles based music festival for music lovers who want to hear local and undiscovered bands for a super low price!

Established in 2011, this years Brokechella event will be taking place on Saturday, April 19th and has an incredible line up of talent! Tickets are $10 pre-sale or $20 at the door and are available HERE.

The day-long festival in and around a warehouse at 590 South Santa Fe Avenue in downtown Los Angeles.  There will be four stages with bands playing all day, food trucks, booths featuring local crafts and goods for sale, interactive art and more!
